Mediation is a low-cost alternative to litigation. A qualified Mediator acts as a neutral third party to assist the parties in reaching a resolution (settlement) of their dispute.  Mediation typically requires only a single session, but can take as many sessions as is necessary, with the agreement of the involved parties.  At the end of the process, assuming a settlement is reached, a legally binding settlement agreement is created, signed and dated by the parties.
